Under the agreement, the two parties will deepen collaboration in product development and technology commercialization to accelerate the implementation of scientific achievements. Solarky’s Global Product Showroom, located within the Institute’s industrial park, has also been inaugurated as the company’s premier global platform to showcase its brand and cutting-edge innovations.
Established jointly by Zhejiang Provincial Government and Tsinghua University, the Institute serves as a pioneering hub for Zhejiang’s strategy of "attracting top-tier institutions to co-build innovation platforms." To date, it has recruited over 1,000 overseas high-level talents, incubated more than 2,400 technology enterprises, and nurtured over 78 listed companies. The Institute’s New Energy Vehicle and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Research Division focuses on next-generation mobility solutions, providing cutting-edge technologies for low-carbon transportation, autonomous driving ecosystems, and smart traffic governance.
This collaboration signifies the deep integration of Solarky’s industrial expertise and the Institute’s research prowess in photovoltaic vehicle technology. By synergizing breakthroughs in vehicle-integrated solar systems, zero-carbon drivetrains, and smart energy management, the partnership aims to fast-track the commercialization of solar-powered vehicles and drive the global automotive industry’s transition to a carbon-neutral paradigm.
