Solarky and GSM Group Sign Exclusive Distribution Agreement
This week, Solarky officially entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with East Africa’s GSM Group, appointing GSM as its sole authorized distributor in Tanzania. Under this partnership, GSM will take full responsibility for promoting and selling Solarky’s solar-powered vehicle lineup in the local market. As part of the agreement, GSM Group will fulfill an initial order of 2,000 Solarky solar vehicles within the first year, marking a key milestone in the first phase of the strategic collaboration.
Building on this collaboration, Solarky and GSM Group will also explore the feasibility of implementing a KD (Knock-Down) local assembly model. By localizing production, Solarky aims to enhance delivery efficiency, reduce costs, and boost job creation and industrial development in the region—supporting the growth of East Africa’s new energy mobility ecosystem.
Solarky is committed to advancing green mobility through low-carbon, solar-powered technology—offering affordable, clean transportation solutions to support sustainable development and the energy transition across Africa. Looking ahead, Solarky will continue expanding its global presence by partnering with strong local players to accelerate the adoption of solar mobility and contribute to a cleaner and more equitable global transportation landscape.
